Retention for salons

The client who never came back

Why your quiet Tuesday isn't a marketing problem

Founding salons — now open

The leak

She loved her cut. She said she'd be back. She meant it.

Then a week passed, and another, and the diary quietly filled with everyone except her. No row, no complaint, no rival poached her. She just didn't rebook — and nothing in the salon was built to notice.

Most salons don't lose people to the shop down the road. They lose them to silence: the gap between a first visit that went well and the second one nobody ever booked.

The clients that do come… never rebook!

What Fawned does

Not another dashboard. A quiet habit the salon didn't have before.

She gets asked back — automatically

The moment a first visit goes well is the moment to invite the next one. Fawned does that for you, in your salon's name, at the right distance — so the ask feels personal, not automated.

84%

of mature-cohort clients came back, in the barbershop we run.

The no-show pays for itself

A gentle, well-timed reminder turns a forgotten slot back into a paid one. One recovered colour appointment covers the month — the rest is yours.

~£10k/yr

is what no-shows cost a typical salon — an industry estimate, not your books.

Your regulars notice being noticed

The people who already love you feel remembered — a note that lands when it should, not a birthday text in March. Loyalty you can feel, kept warm without you lifting a finger.

Where the proof comes from

No invented testimonials. Two honest claims, kept apart on purpose.

A barbershop at a £28 ticket — proof the mechanism works, not a salon's expected result. Your figures come from your own numbers × salon benchmarks.

Coming · the founding salon

We built this for barbershops first. Salons are why we built Fawned.

The first founding salon's own before-and-after will live here — a real salon result, in place of a barbershop's. That's what founding means: you help write the proof.

The founding salon offer

A system with a person behind it — not a tool you set up alone.

Thirteen founding salons · then it closes

Priced against the coaching you'd hire, not the software line on your card. One recovered colour appointment a week pays for it several times over.

  • 01Personal onboarding by Andrew — set up with you, not handed to you.

  • 03A say in what gets built next — founders shape the product.

Plain answers

The questions owners actually ask.

What does it cost?

£149 a month for founding salons, held at that rate for as long as you stay. No setup fee, no tiers, no contract you can't leave.

What does it need from my booking system?

Very little. Fawned sits on top of Phorest, Fresha, Timely, SalonIQ, Zenoti, Slick and the rest — it reads the visits, it doesn't replace the diary. Nothing to migrate, nothing to relearn.

Why do you visit in person?

Because a salon isn't a spreadsheet, and the first setup is worth getting right in the room. Andrew comes to you, sets it up around how you actually work, and leaves it running.

What does "founding" mean?

Thirteen salons get in before it opens wider. You get the founder rate, a direct line, and a genuine say in what's built next. In return, your result helps write the proof for the salons after you.

What is Fawned not?

Not another booking system, not a marketplace, not a rival to Fresha or Phorest. It doesn't chase new strangers — it keeps the clients you already earned.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You leave, and you stop paying. It's month to month. We'd rather you stay because the diary shows it's working, not because you're locked in.

No demo link, no sales sequence. A short call, then a visit if it's a fit. In person means in person.
